Many have said that the electric vehicle (EV) market faces a classic “chicken or egg” problem. Without confidence in the infrastructure needed to support large-scale EV charging, customers are less likely to purchase an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle. But without proof of a growing, stable EV market, businesses and municipalities are less likely to invest in the charging infrastructure needed to move the industry forward.
