New requirements included:
• Identification, monitoring and review of external and internal issues relevant to purpose and strategic direction
• Identification of interested parties relevant to the QMS, and monitoring and review of their needs and expectations
• Determination of the ‘scope’ of our QMS
In other words, the revised Standard covers the way we run our business as well as how we manage quality.
Having now operated with the new system for over 18 months, we have undertaken a short review to determine where and how we have benefited from this new Standard, and the following are some of our findings:
