The Cherry range of computer keyboards and other input devices are now available directly to end users in the UK resulting from a joint venture between Cherry Keyboards and Horsham-based electronics component distributor, Aerco.
Under this initiative, known as ‘Cherry Keyboards ‘R’ Us’, the Cherry range of keyboards, will be sold through their website (www.cherrykeyboardsrus.co.uk). Most of the keyboards listed on the website will be held in stock at Aerco, but will be available within a three or four day lead time if this is not the case.
The website will offer standard computer keyboards for home office, multimedia and office solutions as well as a number of specialist products. These include large character versions for the partially-sighted and a special educational keyboard with lower case legends designed to help introduce children of primary school age to computers. Wireless keyboards and matching wired and wireless mice are also supplied as ultra-slim keyboards, trackballs and numerical keypads.
Michael Groom, General Sales Manager at Cherry said: "Aerco has been trading for over 50 years as a distributor of a wide range of electronic products and is a long term specialist distributor of the Cherry range. The company has an enviable reputation for service and support and was an obvious partner for us in this important new marketing initiative. This new e-commerce venture allows Cherry to make our products easily available to the end user within the rapidly expanding web based market place. We look forward to continuing our close working relationship with Aerco and wish them every success with the venture."
