DuPont Dow Elastomers has extended its EPDM range to include an amorphous
grade for the weatherstrip industry and a semi-crystalline, high
molecular weight grade in pellet form for GRI applications. The Nordel IP
grade, developed specifically for dense profile and sponge applications,
features consistent cure rate and low contamination and gel levels. The
semi-crystalline material, meanwhile, provides enhanced green strength at
room temperature, enhanced cold temperature performance, improved mixing
time and a better compression set at lower temperatures.
