Now covering the power range from 0.25-132kW, Leroy Somer’s Digidrive SK is available in ‘normal’ or ‘heavy-duty’ ratings, and operating voltages of 110, 240, 400, 575 and 690V. The unit is suitable for a range of materials handling applications (particularly conveyors) and, thanks to its open loop vector control mode and advanced brake control function, is an appropriate choice for hoisting applications.
Up to 1.5kW, it can be fixed directly to a DIN rail and its pre-set configuration is optimised for most basic factory operations. Its numerous built-in functions include logic, comparators, motorised potentiometer and PID regulator, while real-time clock, preset speed scan timer, control of external encoder, fieldbus options and I/O expansions are available through add-on modules.
