Bonomi’s new ‘VB’ Series electric actuator joins the company’s existing portfolio of pneumatic valve actuators. These quarter turn units are suitable for operating ball valves, butterfly valves, plug valves and dampers in a wide range of industries, and offer output torque from 15Nm to 350Nm. They are housed within a robust techno polymer enclosure, offering IP65 and IP67 ingress protection.
Other features include manual override, visual position indication, an anti condensation heater, two micro switches for remote position indication, electronic torque limiter and a dual drilled ISO5211/DIN3337 interface to facilitate direct mounting. All motors are rated for 100-240Vac and 24Vac, as well as 24Vdc operation. Options include a 4-20mA or 0-10V modulating valve position controller and an internal battery for fail safe operation in the event of power loss.
