Control cables given UL and CSA approval

CF9 and CF10 control cables have been used around the globe for the past 15 years, and were originally developed for applications with high cycle rates, speeds and accelerations in demanding conditions.

The new control cables have a bending radius of 5xd, a flame-resistant TPE outer sheath and flexibility despite the cold, which means they can be used in temperatures ranging from -35 to +100°C. They are resistant to oil and bio-oil, as well as UV radiation, and so are suited to both indoor and outdoor applications.

The Chainflex range comprises 850 cables designed for use within an Energy Chain – from servo cables to optical waveguides, from control cables to FireWire bus cables. CF9.UL and CF10.UL are flexible problem-solvers for high cycle rates.

The TPE control cables are used in racking units, machining centres or tooling machines, high-speed handling, clean room and semi-conductor applications, ship-to-shore and outdoor cranes and low-temperature applications.
