Powershape Offers Better Modelling Capabilities

Version 5 of Delcam's PowerShape hybrid modelling software has improved solid and surface modelling capabilities, including whole model editing by morphing, direct editing of a single face of a solid, plus associative 3D sketching of curves on to surfaces. Other enhancements include a new 'fill-in surface' option that can fill complex gaps with a surface showing improved smoothness and better tangent continuity with the surrounding surfaces. Delcam says the new features will enable designers to create and modify their designs more quickly, without the restrictions that result when using solid modelling techniques alone.
