The introduction of the Haswell architecture signals further advancements and capabilities from predecessors. Haswell processors follow the Intel ‘tick tock’ format; in this case, Haswell brings in new micro-architecture on a 22nm die.
The Impact-R and Ventrix are suitable for advanced industrial applications that require high levels of display and processing power. Both the Impact-R and Ventrix use the latest Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 road mapped processors.
Amplicon Ventrix systems offer up to 16GB DDR3 or DDR3L with the ability to auto detect, minimising configuration when changing over. With the Q87 chipset, the Ventrix system will support four SATA III channels with RAID, four USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 suiting all standard peripherals whilst still supporting legacy I/O such as serial communication, PS/2 and parallel ports. Using an additional break out, the Ventrix can also support HDMI or DVI removing the need for potentially expensive graphics cards.
