Motion Control Products Ltd have announced that they have been appointed as the UK & Irish distributor for ACS Motion Control Ltd, a progressive manufacturer of advanced multi-axis motion controllers and integrated control modules.
The flagship product of ACS Motion Control is the SPiiPlus range, which is available in standalone or rack mounted versions. The outstanding model within this range is the SPii Plus Control Module (CM) package, which integrates up to 3 digital drives in a programmable motion controller with a power supply.
With three internal drives, this model has the option to control another five external axes. The integrated drives are software configurable for AC servo, brushless DC or brushed DC motors with the commutation handled by the controller. The remaining 5 axes connected to the HSSI network can be either Brushless / Brushed Servo or Stepper Drives.
Applications for this new integrated motion system include semi-conductor manufacturing and inspection, electronic assembly and testing, medical imaging and digital printing equipment.
