IP69K protected vision sensors for the food and pharmaceutical industries

New VeriSens models XF-105/205 with IP69K-rated stainless steel housings are capable of numerous applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

The VeriSens range of vision sensors from Baumer now includes the new XF series, featuring IP69K protection and stainless steel housings. This washdown design is believed to be a first for the industry.

Offering high performance with up to 19 feature checks, the XF series can also read code and text. The series integrates the patented FEX image processor for stable image evaluation, and offers a configurable web interface.

Configuration is simple using the standardised VeriSens application suite software. Other models incorporate infrared illumination and integrated daylight filter to suppress daylight impact on image evaluation or flashlight effects caused by integrated illumination.
