Fully encapsulated ultrasonic sensor tolerates frequent washdown

They ensure optimum hygiene in applications when frequent cleaning processes are required; typical applications are the food and beverage industry, the medical and pharmaceutical industry, the chemical, filling and packaging industry.

The robust, fully encapsulated stainless steel housing with gap-less transitions reach IP68/IP69K protection class and withstand even high pressure and steam jet cleaning; they are insensitive to water vapour, moisture and dust. Their resistance to aggressive chemical cleaning agents is certified to Ecolab standards. A food safe cable screw connection is also available.
