Shock absorbers offering standard corrosion protection

Automation control equipment manufacturer Ace Controls International is now supplying its range of shock absorbers with a standard corrosion protection that is 30% better than platinum, armoloy or nickel plate; and 67% better than hard chrome and 150% better than black oxide.

Edward Abbott, Ace UK’s general manager says: “Independent laboratory salt-spray tests confirm that our new Weartec Plus coating offers superior corrosion protection to the common industry coatings used today and as part of continuous policy of product improvement, this will become standard on our M12 to M64 body diameter shock absorbers at no additional cost to our customers.”

Weartec Plus provides ideal protection on shock absorbers used in the wash down areas in the food and packaging industries as well as in harsh outdoor environments.
