Ball transfer units are improved across the range

Alwayse Engineering has introduced performance improvements across its range of Mini ball transfer units. The company has 75 years of experience designing and manufacturing these types of products.

Through a long-term commitment to research and development, several key enhancements have been brought to the products, including reduced friction, increased longevity and greater capability in all orientations. For some units, such as the 11MI-06-17, the load capacity has also been increased by 50 percent from 10kg to 15kg.

Chris Branch who heads research and development at Alwayse Engineering says the enhancements demonstrate his company's commitment to the continuous development and improvement of its products.

Used throughout industries as diverse as oil and gas, medical imaging, automotive and special effects for the film industry, Alwayse Mini Units allow engineers and designers the ability to move parts, materials and equipment easily, precisely and in any direction instantly.

Available in some 17 different configurations, with load capacities of up to 70kg and body diameters ranging from 8mm to 28mm, the units are fitted with threaded stems to enable precise location.
