Cable entry system meets IP69K protection rating

The new KDL/H 24 cable entry system from Murrplastik meets protection rating IP69K for high-pressure water cleaning at high temperatures.

The KDL/H 24 cable entry system is produced as a powder-coated zinc die casting and is suitable for feed-through of preconfigured cables in rugged outdoor environments, as well as environments where it might be exposed to high mechanical stresses, moisture, acids, alkalis, alcohols, mineral oils, cleaning agents, grease, and dust.

The feed-through is resistant to high pressure steam jet cleaners; it is fully UV and ozone resistant and can be deployed over a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C. The KDL/H 24 and accessories also offer a flammability rating of UL94–V0.

KDL/H 24 is equipped with a grommet block made from TPE, which fixes the sleeves behind the metal frame and locks each feed-in cable tightly with built-in strain relief. It is virtually impossible for the grommets to be torn out, even under extremely high mechanical stresses.

Installation
Instead of locking the cable plus a sleeve from the top into the cable entry system, as is usually the case, cable feeds are placed into the grommet block; the grommet block is then pressed into the cut-out, the cables are placed in the appropriate grommets and finally, each individual grommet is pressed into the grommet block.

The frame itself is mounted on the grommet block and screw fastened with 4x M5 bolts. Assembly is achieved from the front.

The capacity of KDL/H 24 is 48 cables. Ten different sleeve variations with clamping ranges of between 2 to 12mm are available. KDL/H 24 installation dimensions are suitable for the heavy-duty 24-pin Harting and Wieland connector standard cut-outs.
