The surge in demand for andon lights from operations keen to improve their visual management systems and eliminate wastage and obtain better transparency of their operation has encouraged WERMA to introduce a new comprehensive kit of the essential components required to set up a simple manually operated andon light system

Werma AndonBOX & Light Kit
In Lean manufacturing terms Andon refers to any visual display that shows status information on the plant floor.

The AndonBOX & Light Kit from Werma contains all the necessary components to create an Andon system. For example it could be used to indicate line status, show when a supervisor or engineer is required, or allow operators to stop production for quality issues.

The AndonBOX & Light Kit is a 24V system which allows up to 4 light tiers to be switched. The mains power supply has interchangeable adaptors for EU, UK and North America, and has a 100-240V input range making it suitable for most countries.

Manual work stations, assembly lines, packing and despatch lines can all benefit from this easy to install manual call for action system.

Kit contents - Werma part No 649 260 01
- AndonBOX, mains powered plug-top supply, 5m cable with connectors at both ends, terminal element, three KS71 permanent LED light elements (red, yellow, green), choice of mounting accessories; tube and base, wall bracket and support tube.
