SKF's new motor encoder unit is able to deliver accurate signals related to shaft speed and direction of rotation to the controller, even in the harsh electromagnetic environment of an ac induction motor. The unit provides a Faraday cage type shielding environment, together with an embedded EMI filter to protect from power surges and electrostatic discharge.
Offering a compact design, the unit is easy to mount, fully interchangeable with the previous generation of models and is fully compliant with current industry standards.
