High accuracy Brecoflex StandardPlus polyurethane timing belts are now available in AT3 pitch sizes from Poole based power transmission specialist Transmission Developments. The StandardPlus range which was originally launched in 5 and 10 mm pitch, T and AT versions, takes advantage of advances in manufacturing and production control techniques to provide greatly improved tooth-pitch accuracy. Aimed at low cost positioning applications where it can rival rolled quality ballscrew precision, comparative tests have shown that the StandardPlus belt can provide up to seven times the accuracy of other manufacturer’s timing belt products.
The new range now covers minimum belt lengths between ?? and ?? (was720 mm to 1700 mm) and belt pitches of T5, T10, AT3, AT5 and AT10 in widths of up to 100 mm. Maximum lengths up to 12000 mm are available.
The StandardPlus range features Brecoflex’s unique bifilar, S & Z wound, steel tensioning system which greatly reduces belt run-off and lowers noise levels and can be supplied with reinforced belt backings, special facing material and anti-static coatings.
