Index plungers for high speed assembly adjustments

WDS Component Parts has expanded its range of index plungers to improve flexibility when repositioning jigs and fixtures on the production line.

The range includes metric and imperial sizes and is available with a parallel or tapered design. All of the parts are manufactured in-house by WDS in Leeds, meaning that most orders can be satisfied next day.

Ergonomically designed, they can be quickly retracted and locked by simply pulling the plunger and rotating it by a quarter turn. The range extension features taper parking type, taper standard type, parallel parking type and parallel standard type index plungers as well as a range of complementary bushes in both parallel and taper formats.

3D CAD files are available to download free from the WDS website at so customers can be sure that they order the perfect fit, first time.
