Miniature check valve can be pressed into plastic manifolds

New from Lee Products is a miniature medical grade  stainless steel cartridge style, corrosion resistant check valve that can be installed into plastics.

This new 5.5mm CCPI Series valve can be installed into plastics that have sufficient elongation, such as nylon, polyethylene, polypropylene, acetal and PEEK. It is only 7.3mm long, is constructed from 316L stainless steel and features a ceramic ball which, along with its robust design and construction, provides exceptional resistance to aggressive fluids.

The valve features an innovative barbed design which ensures simple, press-in installation, superior retention as well as preventing any by-pass leakage around the valve.  They can be installed in either direction, enabling forward or reverse flow configurations to facilitate optimal design flexibility. Flow capacity is 20 litre/min at 200KPa pressure drop.

Lee’s medical grade check valves benefit from a robust design and 100 percent performance testing, making them ideal for medical, ink jet printing and other similar micro-hydraulic liquids handling applications.
