New products from Phoenix Contact

Phoenix Contact releases a new I/O system with extended temperature range; new compact, efficient power supplies, and higher rated surge arresters.

The Axioline F I/O system from Phoenix Contact for signal acquisition in the control cabinet now includes versions with an extended temperature range of -40°C to 70°C.

The robust modules with the XC (extreme conditions) extension are based on standard versions. In addition to bus couplers, they also include digital and analogue input and output modules as well as a range of function modules. The PCBs used are coated with a special paint which improves their resistance to moisture and corrosive gases.

The Uno Power product range from Phoenix Contact has been extended to include two new compact and highly efficient power supplies:

Uno power supplies offer an adjustable dc output voltage of 24 to 28V, and a power density increased from 240W/dm³ to over 325W/dm³. They are able to supply loads of 150 and 240W.

Thanks to the high energy efficiency of these units, just a very small amount of electrical energy is converted into unwanted heat energy. The product range supports input voltages from 85 to 264Vac and operates reliably even in the event of voltage fluctuations in the power supply network.

The VAL-MS…DC-PV photovoltaic surge arresters from Phoenix Contact (illustrated) are now short-circuit-proof up to 1,000A dc. These arresters are certified by the independent DEKRA test laboratory according to EN 50539-11 and have been awarded the KEMA test mark.
