Exclara LED drivers lead the way for smart lighting

Lighting companies have made huge strides in developing their LED drivers, and companies like Ledus have gone the extra mile to optimise PCB designs and open up opportunities for smart lighting.

The driver is at the heart of an LED smart light, its power factor correction and dimmer support capabilities optimising reliability and life span.

Exclara drivers from Ledus can be wirelessly controlled (WiFi enabled) or controlled by a smartphone via Bluetooth. These thermally protected drivers avoid the need for capacitors and inductors and provide a dimming function.

Ledus is the LED lighting subsidiary of Tech Pro Technology Development, supplying LED lighting systems for both residential and commercial applications.

The company supplies a range of Exclara drivers such as the HVX (high-voltage LED driver) family that comprises the EXC 100; a single chip power supply for high voltage LEDs.
