Electronically commutated fan-and-filter units with speed control

Rittal's fan-and-filter units with electronically commutated (EC) motors provide an energy efficient alternative to standard ac fan-and-filter units.

With a new sensor for controlling speed, Rittal's EC fan-and-filter units are up to 30 percent more efficient than comparable ac fan-and-filter units. The sensor measures the temperature within the enclosure and controls the fan speed as needed, right up to independent shutdown at below 20°C.
