Sensors maintain same sensing distance regardless of material

Baumer Factor 1 sensors offer the advantage of maintaining the same sensing distance for all metals, unlike standard sensors where this value changes, depending on the material.

Factor 1 sensors are thus suitable for applications involving objects that vary in terms of material of construction. They come in four cylindrical sizes: 6, 8, 12 and 18 mm, offer rapid response, high EMC immunity and high temperature resistance.
