Emparro67: a rugged power supply for the plant environment

Emparro67 power supply units  withstand extreme environmental conditions and can be installed outside the cabinet and out in the plant, next to the load.

This makes them the ideal for those decentralised applications where power loss due to long cable lengths is undesirable. Using Emparro67, the voltage is converted from 230Vac to 24Vdc directly at the load; power loss is minimised and energy costs are reduced.

Installing the power supply outside the cabinet offers a number of benefits: smaller cabinets can be used, and in some applications it may be possible to dispense with cabinets altogether.

Emparro67's compact and rugged metal housing is fully potted and IP67 sealed. Dirt, humidity, and lubricants cannot damage its components.

The single phase Emparro power supply features active PFC technology ensuring high operational efficiency. The units not only run cool as a result, but are also able to function at ambient temperatures of up to 85°C.

Another useful feature is the power boost function, which enables the Emparro67 to deliver 150 percent of nominal current for a period of up to four seconds, enabling high capacitive loads to be started without causing voltage drops.

Emparro67 is available in two models with output current of 4 and 8A.
