The latest from Cross & Morse are
dimensionally interchangeable with industry standard types. There are
five sizes in the standard series, covering operating torque from 2.5 to
800Nm, while the low-cost 'mini' series covers 2.5 to 400Nm. Standard
Safegard clutches can be supplied ball driven (high speed,
non-synchronous) or roller driven (low speed, synchronous). A roller
driven 'Safe Lift' version is also available to provide overload
indication only. Meanwhile, the mini series clutches are offered in a
choice of synchronous and non-synchronous versions, for mediam speed
applications with low radial forces and infrequent tripping.
