Filters and resistors for harsh variable speed drive applications

REO has added IP65 and IP66 rated chokes, braking resistors and EMC filters to its REOunity range, to handle aggressive environments and severe climatic conditions.

These units can be mounted outside the inverter, without the need for additional enclosures. The IP65 and IP66 equipment is robustly constructed and offers complete protection from dust, liquid and slurry ingress. EMC filters with IP66 rating also provide protection against corrosion and salt water.
