Heidenhain releases Mitsubishi compatible encoder range

A series of rotary encoders specifically designed for direct connection to Mitsubishi controls are now available from Heidenhain (GB).

Offering accuracies of +/- 20 arc/second and suitable for use on machine tool servo axes and spindles, the ECN/EQN absolute and ROC/ROQ 400M series encoders feature integral bearing and stator coupling or separate shaft coupling. Mounted encoders are protected to IP67 (housing) and IP64 (shaft inlet).

ECN/EQN 400M encoders are available with blind hollow shaft or hollow through shaft. ROC/ROQ 400M models have either a synchro or clamping flange and an additional circumferential slot for fastening with fixing clamps.
