Pre-harnessed energy chain system offers quick swap out

Continuing its 'readychain' concept, igus has introduced ‘readychain speed’ – a pre-harnessed energy chain system that is ready to fit directly on a machine without the need for specialist tools.

The readychain speed pre-harnessed energy chain system is a single unit and as such can be exchanged quickly, reducing machinery downtime significantly.

All of the different connections, be it for fibre optic, control, servo, data and pneumatic lines, are pre-harnessed into a single hybrid modular connector.

In addition, the energy chain itself doesn’t need to be bolted into place – it’s simply latched into position without the need for specialist tools.
