Electronics enclosure range now supplied as complete sets

OKW has made specifying its Interface-Terminal multifunction electronic enclosures quicker and easier by making the most popular combinations available as complete sets.

The modular design allows the enclosures to be used for handheld, desktop, wall or flush mounted applications using different combinations of the case components. The most popular combinations can now be ordered using just a single part number.

These  ergonomic enclosures are moulded in ABS (UL 94 HB) and offer plenty of space for components, displays and touch screens.

The modular construction allows five different case formats: mobile (with or without 5 x AA battery compartment); with base or flat wall suspension element; desktop; desktop/wall mounting with latch lock; flush mounted in walls or control panels. Options also include a choice of front panels in ABS, aluminium and glass (for touch screens).

Three plan sizes are available: 190 x 135mm (S), 225 x 165mm (M) and 275 x 195mm (L). The standard colour is Off White (RAL 9002). Custom colours are also available. Prices for the complete sets start at £32.

OKW offers a wide range of accessories for these enclosures including contacts, IP54 sealing gaskets and two installation assembly kits.

Customising services are also available including CNC milling and drilling, printing or engraving of legends and logos, special finishes, keypads and assembly.

Sloping terminal enclosures
Also new from OKW’s metal enclosures division, Metcase, is an unsealed version of its Unidesk sloping front terminal enclosures. These aluminium instrument enclosures are designed for desktop use but can also be wall mounted.

They are normally supplied with IP54 sealing gaskets but specifying the new version without seals makes them more cost effective - if sealing is not required.

These robust and ergonomic cases are supplied pre-assembled. Features include a recessed front panel for a membrane keypad, pre-punched PCB fixing points in the base plus a flat rear wall for installing switches, connectors, power inlets and cable glands.

Unidesk is available in three sizes – 200mm x 200mm x 102mm; 300mm x 200mm x 102mm; 400mm x 200mm x 102mm – and two standard colours: light grey (RAL 7035) and black (RAL 9005).

Prices for the new models start at £78.
