New 10Gbit RJ45 industrial Ethernet connectors from Murrelektronik

The new RJ45 Professional series industrial Ethernet connectors from Murrelektronik can be wired in the field and are available in straight and angled versions.

The 45 degree outlet of the angled version makes stacking connections with multiple ports simple. The flexible cable outlet is a special feature; by simply turning the insert, it's possible to assemble the outlet in four different directions.

Connecting the Ethernet cable is also simple and doesn't require any tools thanks to insulation displacement technology. It is designed for wire cross sections of 0.14 to 0.34mm² (AWG26 – AWG22) and cables from 4.5 - 9mm.

The connectors are suitable for data transfer rates according to CAT5e (Profinet) or CAT6A (Gigabit) up to 10Gbit. The compact form offers a high degree of flexibility with IP20 protection and selectable cable outlet directions.

In addition to the RJ45 Professional, Murrelektronik offers an extensive range of connectors for wiring EtherNet/IP system components. From pre-wired models in RJ45 (IP20) and M12 (IP67) to accessories such as flange plugs, RJ45/M12 adapters and cables supplied by the metre.
