MVK Metal Safety: optimum protection for man and machine

With MVK Metal Safety, Murrelektronik now offers active safety technology in the form of a rugged fieldbus module with safe I/O and safe control (F-PLC).

These new Profinet/Profisafe fieldbus modules provide Safety Integrity Level 3 (SIL3 - according to IED 61508 and IEC 62061) and Performance Level e (PLe - according to EN ISO 13849-1).

The fully potted MVK Metal Safety modules are suitable for applications in harsh industrial environments, providing IP67 protection and a high resistance to shock and vibration.

Typical applications include connecting two-hand control devices, emergency stop circuits, guard doors, safety mats and light barriers.
