Unidrive package gives 11/2 axis servo motion control 'in minutes'
Control Techniques' Unidrive SP platform has been extended with the
introduction of 'Motion Made Easy' - a powerful, yet easy to use, full
11/2 axis motion control module called SM-EZMotion that simply 'clicks'
into any one of the three universal option slots on the drive. No
additional panel space is required and there are no extra cabling
requirements. There are six high-speed digital I/O (four input, two
output), as well as seven digital I/O and five analogue I/O that are
standard on the Unidrive.
Fill-in-the-dialogue-box type programming achieves motion profiles
quickly and reliably for common applications such as conveyor
synchronisation, electronic gearing/camming, flying cut-off, registration
control, labelling and printing, phase synchronisation, rotary knife,
slip compensation, point-to-point position - and many more. Unidrive SP
is easily matched to a wide range of motors and feedback devices to
provide optimum performance for nearly any servo application.
