Both new series - DRC-40 and DRC-60 - can mount on to TS-35/7.5 or TS35/15 DIN rails. In addition to their primary output, all models provide a secondary output designed for use with battery chargers. Together with an external battery, this can facilitate a security power system with a dc UPS function.
These DRC products accept either a 90 – 264Vac full range input or a 127 – 370Vdc input, and each series comprises two models with different dc output voltages: 13.8V and 27.6V. All models offer a working efficiency of up to 88 percent, allowing an operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C while needing only free air convection cooling.
The DRC-40 provides ac OK and Battery Low alarms using TTL outputs or, optionally, relay contacts. The DRC-60 provides these alarms through relay contacts as standard.
Other standard functions include short circuit protection, overload protection, over-voltage protection, battery low cut-off, battery reverse polarity protection by fuse, and front panel dc voltage adjustment.
DRC-40 and DRC-60 are certified to meet UL/CUL/CB/TUV/CE safety regulations and satisfy the requirements of IEC60950-1 Limited Power Source (LPS).
