Schneider Electric has launched the first products in a major new push into the motion control arena with the unveiling of its entry level Telemecanique Lexium 05 servo drives. The range has 13 models covering capacities from 0.4kW up to 6kW with motor speeds up to 6,000rpm. This new drive is simple to install with automatic tuning, and simple to programming via menu driven commands. Coupled with Telemecanique BSH low inertia servo motors, the Lexium 05 provides a powerful general purpose drive solution for point to point positioning, torque or speed regulation, electronic shaft, and manual jog functions.
