Ace Controls International has introduced the SDD Series double ended safety shock absorber, which avoids the need for a second safety device in many applications. Suitable for use in cranes, the units are offered in three standard sizes: SDD 50, 63 and 80, with stroke lengths from 200mm to 1,000mm and energy absorption capacities from 14.5kN to 135kN. The outer body is galvanised zinc plated for improved surface protection and all units have an operating temperature range of between -25ºC and +65ºC.
