Abssac announces a 30% reduction in the price of its MC series motor couplings for 2007, thanks to enhanced manufacturing methods. Available in aluminium and stainless steel as standard, the MC (motor coupling) series is fixed using a set screw clamping device to deliver a reliable, zero-backlash connection between shafts. Suitable for most types of motor drive, including servomotors, the single piece construction ensures constant velocity and high torsional stiffness. The MC series caters for shaft diameter from 6mm to 30mm, and can also be supplied with key ways.
