The new LEZ series timing belt driven actuator from Micromech is suitable for quick and accurate positioning, and comes in lengths of up to 6m (100mm increments) in moving or stationary timing belt versions. Constructed from aluminium profile, these actuators have a repeatability of less than, or equal to ± 0.2mm and a limit and/or reference switch accuracy of better than 0.1 mm.
The fixed timing belt version has the motor mounted on the carriage, allowing maximum travel in a constricted space. The moving timing belt version can carry a load of 24kg at speeds of up to 5m/s. Both moving and fixed units are suitable for spraying and coating applications.
