Renold updates its web based chain selector program

Renold has updated its chain selector program with a new version that is available now and free to download from the company's web site. Since its launch early in 2006 the chain selector has proved a huge success and has received thousands of downloads from engineers all over the world. The program selects precisely the right chain for a given application, based on factors such as running speed, operating conditions and lubrication, from a database of hundreds of chain products. Selection of the wrong type of
chain can lead to shortened working life and increased maintenance.
