Garrandale supplies Nikon Metrology

Derby based precision component manufacturer, Garrandale, is supplying bespoke components to Nikon Metrology for the construction of the latter's co-ordinate measurement machines (CMMs).

A number of different bespoke fabrications have been supplied for use in the manufacture of both the CMM bridge and gantry systems.

Nikon Metrology's machines are guaranteed, in terms of their accuracy, for ten years, so precision was a key requirement for Garrandale, who completed the project at its own facility where each component was custom built to meet the specific requirements of the customer.

The purpose built factory in Derby specialises in the fabrication of stainless and mild steel components and assemblies, and offers welding, fabrication, heat treatment and machining services, as well as full assembly facilities, all under one roof.
