Power supplies located next to the load reduce losses

Emparro67 power supply units withstand extreme environmental conditions and can be installed outside the cabinet, directly in the field, next to the load.

In a 24V system, losses can occur if power supply units are connected to the load via long cables. By using Emparro67, the voltage is converted from 230Vac to 24Vdc at the point of load, minimising both voltage drops and energy losses.

Installing power supply units outside the cabinet has other benefits: smaller cabinets can be used, and in some applications it may even be possible to avoid the need for cabinets altogether.

Emparro67's compact and rugged metal housing is fully potted and IP67 sealed. Dirt, humidity, and cooling lubricants cannot damage the internal components, ensuring the power supply's suitability for a wide range of applications.

Emparro power supplies feature active PFC technology and achieve efficiencies of up to 92.4 percent. As well as running cooler, the Emparro67 is also capable of operating at ambient temperatures of 85°C, which is exceptional for power supplies.

Another feature of Emparro67 is its power boost function. The units supply up to 150 percent of the nominal current for a period of up to four seconds, while high capacitance loads can be started without causing voltage drops.

Emparro67 is available in two models with output currents of 4A and 8A.
