Compact and uncomplicated - the new SDD 305 drive from Sigmatek

The SDD 305 DIAS drive is the latest addition to Sigmatek's 300 series. While it has three drives integrated in one housing like the rest of the product family, the 305 is smaller and more compact, measuring just 241 mm x 114 mm x 225 mm (H x W x D. The functions are intentionally limited to current, rotation speed and position control to avoid unnecessary overhead. In addition to position control, a spline interpolation is available from the new drive. Standard features of the servo controller include, among other things, an auto range function, network filter and a VARAN interface.

The Ethernet based VARAN interface provides fast and jitter-free communication. All current feedback systems can also be used, includnig resolvers, EnDAT sensors, hyperface sensors and high-resolution Sin/Cos sensors.
