Tape joins and seals metal components

A special tape, developed to seal and join metallic products such as aluminium, steel and other metals, has been launched by tesa UK. tesa 4664 is constructed from woven PET/cotton fabric and laminated with metallised PE. It uses a natural rubber adhesive that gives it very high initial tack and excellent adhesion, even on rough surfaces. The tape is highly conformable, moisture resistant and vapour-tight. Additionally, it has a service temperature of up to 95°C and is UL 723 rated for flame and smoke. Supplied without a liner it is easy to handle, tear by hand and quick to apply.
