Charcroft Electronics has introduced a new sensor from Sensata Technologies, which overcomes the dense EMI problems of commercial HVAC/R systems. The 2CH case-isolated pressure transducer features EMI protection of 100v/m and a dielectric terminal-to-case strength of 1.8kVac. With pressure ranges between 100–750 psi and a burst pressure rating of up to 4X operating pressure, this device is ideal for electrically challenging environments such as inverter driven compressors and advanced HVAC/R systems. This new ceramic capacitive, hermetic sensor is available in a variety of pressure ports and electrical fittings.
