Following the decision of long-term Heidenhain Digital Readout retrofit distributor Promtech Services to relocate, the search is now on for a company that is in a position to take on this role in the North London and Home Counties territory. “Over the past 20 years Promtech has developed the area of North London and the home counties very successfully for Heidenhain,” says Stuart Jenkins, Heidenhain’s Sales Office Manager. “During that time it has built a substantial and loyal customer base for our Digital Readout systems, resulting in it achieving the record for the highest number of DRO systems sold in a 12 month period. We are now looking for a company to take that sales area over and develop it. The successful company will be in a unique position to take over one of our most successful distributor areas, an opportunity that seldom arises.”
Heidenhain’s network of DRO distributors and retrofitters is the most successful in the UK, due in part to the comprehensive support provide by the Burgess Hill-based company and the extensive range of products it manufactures. A wide selection of these products, over and above the DRO range, is available to its distribution network .
