The new Vert X family of position sensors from Variohm EuroSensor comes in various housing diameters from 13mm to 37mm and offers a number of analogue or digital outputs. The 14-bit resolution devices are also sealed to IP69K (operational). The permanent magnet is attached to the rotating object by the customer. The need for mechanical coupling between the axis and the measurement system has been eliminated, thus avoiding wear.
The angle sensors are designed for use where the true running of the rotating object is outside a specific tolerance range, or when physical contact between the rotary sensor and the object is not possible. All models allow the rotary angle to be programmed from 0 to 360°, with the full range of resolution and precision available, even for less than 360°.
