Fasteners can now disappear from view or contrast tastefully thanks to a new range of products from fasteners supplier Jet Press. The company can now supply Fir Tree Buttons and Ratchet Rivets with tough decorative finishes from right across the spectrum.
The fasteners can be supplied in exactly matching shades in both the RAL and Pantone colour systems in order to complement or match perfectly their surroundings. They are available in large and small quantities and have a baked enamel finish which is impossible to remove without destroying the fastener.
Fir Tree Buttons are used to secure board, rubber or other soft sheet materials to secondary panels or for holding components to panels. They are used in the automotive industry to secure trims, but are also used in shop fitting and office furniture.
Ratchet Rivets consist of two parts which push together to form a secure and tamper-proof fixing. As well as being used in motor vehicles, they are used in other assembled items such as audio equipment.
