Treston supports the next generation of skilled workers

Industrial furniture and storage system manufacturer, Treston Ltd believes the correct workplace nurtures skills, which is why the company is sponsoring the national Skills Show, which takes place on 13 – 15 November 2014 at the NEC.

Visitors to the Skills Show can seek careers advice from the organisations represented there from across the UK, from robotics, to forensics, cooking to web design. Interaction is encouraged and visitors can also take part in Have a Go experiences; discover training, education and career opportunities, listen to spotlight speakers and receive careers advice.

There are also showcase demonstrations of a range of skills in the dedicated skill sectors: Built Environment; Cultural and Creative Arts; Engineering; IT and Business Administration and Social and Professional Services. Encouraging interaction, as a sponsor, Treston supplies the Skills Show’s electronics competition with its ESD-protected workbenches for competitors to use.

As one of Europe's leading manufacturers of industrial furniture and storage systems for industry, and a major exporter, the company has control over design, specification and quality. Modular workbenches and adjustable industrial furniture helps users work flexibly and efficiently, whether in the manufacturing plant, technical lab or an oil rig.

Treston is a value in kind sponsor of the Skills Show 2014 and was a sponsor of the World Skills competition held in London in 2010.
