Abssac has announced a 30% reduction in the price of its MC series motor couplings for 2007, thanks to enhanced manufacturing techniques. Available in auminium and stainless steel as standard, the MC series delivers a reliable zero backlash connection between shafts. Suitable for electric motor and servomotor drives, the single piece construction allows constant velocity and high torsional stiffness. Fixing the shaft coupling to the shaft could not be easier, thanks to a novel integral clamping attachment with set screw. The MC series caters for shaft diameter from 6mm to 30mm, and can also be supplied with key ways.
