The launch includes HMI soft control, programmable I/Os, frequency inverters and industrial data communication. The purpose is to strengthen the offer within important technology areas, and to give automation users new advanced and user-friendly technologies to meet their challenges.
The new product range consists of self-developed and hand-picked technologies, carefully integrated for seamless automation. These now complement the strong existing range, providing an even wider offer on a global basis. The launch is presented under the banner “Changing the game – smarter technologies for smarter automation users”.
Based on CODESYS, EtherCAT and iX
The new products are based on a number of key technologies, one of which is the leading IEC 61131-3 programming tool CODESYS that fits well with Beijer Electronics’ own developed HMI software iX. The softwares exchange data easily and have fundamental similarities in terms of openness and communication. To provide the necessary speed, Beijer Electronics has chosen EtherCAT communication, the world’s most used Ethernet-based bus in new installations.
